Mandatory Interviews Have Been Postponed for New Grenada Citizenship Applicants

Grenada recently implemented mandatory interviews for applicants applying for their Citizenship by Investment Program. This decision, mirroring similar actions taken by Dominica and Saint Kitts, aims to bolster the due diligence procedures within the citizenship program. Initially planned to begin on September 1st, 2023, this initiative arose from dialogues between the Caribbean nations and US representatives, aiming to enhance and refine their respective CBI programs.

In an effort to strengthen due diligence procedures, the Grenada Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Unit released an official circular detailing mandatory interviews for applicants aged 17 and above as a prerequisite for approval. Applicants applying for the Grenada CBI Program will have the choice to attend these compulsory interviews either in person or remotely.

Subsequent to this announcement, the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Unit issued another circular, delaying the implementation of the interview requirement for CBI applicants up to the date have not yet announced.
